The 2010 Retreads International Rally was hosted by the beautiful city of Hickory, North Carolina. This three-time All-America City on the Catawba River is the gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains. This area has some of the best motorcycle roads you will find anywhere in the United States.
Motorcycle rides to Mount Mitchell, the Wheels Through Time Museum, Shatley Springs, the Snake, Little Switzerland, Linville Caverns, and South Mountains State Park were just a few of the places that the Retreads got to see and ride first hand.
The scenic Blue Ridge Parkway celebrated its 75th birthday this year and just about all of the attendees who rode were able to see some parts of its beauty. But no matter where we went, there were beautiful sights to see.
We would like to thank everybody who came and wish that we could have shown you a lot more. Maybe you'll come back sometime in the future to catch up on all that you missed before.
